About Us
Home Check Services Quinte is a premium home watch service, providing peace of mind to homeowners in Belleville and the Quinte Region. Stop worrying if your friend or relative has had time to stop by and check your home so you are meeting insurance requirements. Leave it to trusted professionals. Who are our clients?
-those who have vacant homes/cottages
- the seasonal travelers
-Military members who have been deployed
-those taking a vacation for a week or weekend
-business travelers
-those with small pets
-those who have been hospitalized
..... almost anyone really, who will be away from home longer than 48 hrs!
Services offered (all or some of the following as requested):
-mail & newspaper collection (put in a safe place in house)
-window and door check
-interior and exterior walkaround to check for any visible issues such as leaks, broken windows etc.
-check for visible signs of rodents and/or insects
-flushing of toilets/running of sinks to avoid pipes freezing
-watering indoor plants and outdoor hanging baskets
-alternating lights on/off, open/close blinds to give the lived in look
-check for severe weather damage
-temperature check
-ensure appliances are working (fridge/freezer)
-check for tripped breakers
-ensure smoke detector and carbon monoxide detectors are working
-feeding of fish
-feeding of cats and litterbox scooping with 20-30 min visit/playtime (once daily max)
-supervision of service calls (furnace repair, duct cleaning etc.) and property maintenance
-alarm response
-changing of furnace filter during extended absences
-fridge stocking prior to your return if needed (you will be billed for items you want purchased)
-light housekeeping prior to your return after extended absence (dust, vacuum, wipe down of surfaces)
-visits are logged and clients are advised of any issues via text or email if non-urgent, and photos can be sent as requested.
Pricing includes an initial meet and greet & walk thru of your home, key pick up, and the promise to return your keys to you within 24-48 hours of your return.
Upon verbal agreement to have us watch your home, we will provide you with a contract for your signature that outlines what we will be doing in your home while you are away. At that time payment for service is requested. Fully refundable up until 48 hours prior to contracted start date.
Pricing:
- within Belleville City Limits $35 per visit (minimum 2 visits per contract)
- outside city limits $45 per visit (minimum 2 visits per contract)
*10% military discount offered on all contracts.
*15% discount offered on extended contracts of 14 visits or more.
*Servicing Belleville, Trenton, Frankford, Stirling, PEC (in summer months), Shannonville and Deseronto.
Will consider other areas upon request. Additional fees will apply.
